Joe and I moved into our very own townhouse a little over a week ago! We had a lot of help from our wonderful friends and family and have been spending any free time trying to get everything put away and organized. It's been an interesting 10 days - getting used to each other's schedules, making the place feel like a home, getting used to being around each other every day, and seeing the little habits that were hidden when we weren't living together. But, it's been great!
I can't believe that after 3 years of long distance we finally live in the same place, and for good! It's a wonderful feeling. Even though we still have things we need to buy, boxes that still need to be put away and things that we don't have a lot of room for (hello to my massive shoe collection), I am so over the moon happy.
It feels good to be home.
